Assessing Didactic Learning for Diverse Students - Test-writing and other learning assessments are often a challenge for both novice and experienced nurse educators. The topics in this session that will help faculty improve their ability to create valid assessments of learning include: formative vs. summative evaluation methods, scholarly papers and projects, writing valid and reliable test items (focus on NCLEX® and NGN), and role of standardized testing.
