Deanne A. Blach, MSN, RN, CNE, NPD-BC, President of DB Productions, has been organizing nursing continuing education conferences for 20 years on a regional and national level. She obtained her BSN from Creighton University in Omaha, NE and an MSN from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Her nursing foundation was built in critical care including surgical and cardiovascular ICU and she was a CCRN for many years. As a nurse educator and expertise in concept mapping, Deanne also teaches about using concept mapping in nursing education as an active learning strategy to help students make connections.
Barb Bancroft RN, MSN, PNP, is a widely acclaimed national speaker, noted for her humorous, entertaining and information packed seminars. Monica C. Speak, AAS, has a background in information technology and data management and has been involved in nursing continuing education for over 10 years on regional and national programs. She is the coordinator of operations management for DB Productions.
Donna Ignatavicius, MS, RN, CNE, ANEF is the founder of Boot Camp for Nurse Educators®. Donna is nationally and internationally recognized as a content expert in nursing education, including expertise in NCLEX®-style test writing, analysis, and curricular mapping. Through her consulting company (DI Associates, Inc.) she has successfully helped many nursing programs throughout the U.S. and Canada improve their licensure pass rates and revise curricula.
Davey has a background in farm/ranch management with an enthusiasm for serving others that attendees can appreciate. His expertise and life experience make him a great team member as he assists DB Productions with conference preparation, the registration process, and event facilitation. His role continues to evolve as he immerses himself in the organization and management of conference planning.
Michele Deck, an internationally renowned presenter, author, and educator is the co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of G.A.M.E.S., a company that provides seminars for any organization, specializing in adult learning and interactive teaching methods. She is also CEO of Tool Thyme for Trainers, a company she founded that supplies the most innovative and creative presentation tools available to educators worldwide. Her extensive travels have resulted in thousands of people who gained valuable expertise of adult education and training, from Australia to Scotland, Canada to Taiwan.
Michele is an author, educator and speaker who is known for her innovative teaching methods in the field of health care education and training. She has been training educators and trainers full time for the last twenty seven years. She has won the “Excellence in Nursing” has also been selected as a “Great 100 Nurse in Louisiana” and was elected to Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society. The National Nursing Staff Development Organization named her the recipient of the prestigious Belinda Puetz award. She was on the editorial board of JNSD for the 9 years. She was named “Business Woman of the Year” two years in a row by the National Business Council. She received the Margaret L. Messore Lectureship award from the Magnolia Chapter of SUNA. She is a past president of Lamaze International. She has authored twelve books on innovative ways to teach nursing and healthcare content.
