This session will cover the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model and explore why clinical judgment is of critical importance. This sets the stage for how faculty can “package” learning opportunities differently to strengthen this skill. Learn how to be a facilitator of learning, instead of being a Sage on the Stage; how letting go (with a deliberate plan) helps foster the process of growing clinical judgment in students who “do the work” in the educational environment. Actual strategies will be presented in keeping with facilitation and assessment of clinical judgment.
