Carrie Stroup, MSN, RN, CNE

A Live Virtual Event • 12:50 – 3:45 PM (Central Time)
Recording available for 60 days post-event for CE

A gap exists between the acquired clinical judgment skills of newly graduated nurses and the level required for safe clinical practice. It is imperative that nurse educators develop strategies to teach and evaluate these skills as students move through the nursing curriculum to prepare them for entry level practice. This webinar will provide a definition and key attributes of clinical judgment. We will discuss strategies to teach and evaluate these skills including the utilization of the SBAR framework for post-conference debriefing, collaborative quizzing, and even updates to the dreaded clinical paperwork.
