An innovative and interactive session that will share the latest update about the NGN from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. This session will demonstrate how to use an Easy Step-by-Step Approach to item writing based on the “SAFETY” and Clinical Judgment Measurement Model. The tools provided to the participants will incorporate concepts, standards, and the cognitive skills in the CJMM to simplify item writing. Faculty will learn how to use the EASY Step-by-Step Approach during this practice session to transition traditional questions into the Next Generation NCLEX® format that can be immediately adapted.
