Message From Deanne

As we all navigate the ‘new normal’ with social distancing and COVID-19, I want you to know we are working diligently to provide you with teaching/learning tools you can implement into this new educational environment.

We are converting all live events to virtual events for the remainder of 2020.  I anticipate bringing some live conferences back, when the environment is right… including the April Branson Nurse Educator Institute, the July Iggy’s Boot Camp for Nurse Educators®, the March Memphis Nurse Educator Institute, and the October Maui Nursing and Allied Health Conference.

I am very passionate about providing continuing education for health care professionals and strive to have the very best conference (virtual or live) an attendee would experience anywhere. I am attentive to details, customer service, great presentations, and making it a great day for anyone who comes to my conferences. I am all about providing evidence-based education for nurse educators and other health care professionals.

I have been using concept maps in nursing education for nearly 25 years and find it very valuable to help students make connections that foster development of clinical judgement. They have to apply new information to their existing knowledge base and put it together in a way that makes sense to them. It’s exciting to see those light bulbs turning on! I love teaching others about this active learning strategy and replace those care plans!

We are also working with organizations for trade shows and conventions with a Health and Wellness Screening and Education Exhibit,  We will set up and provide biometrics, lab testing, colorectal screening, nutritional and fitness programs as well as live educational events – all on the floor of the trade show. We provide individual counseling and individual education based upon their health needs.  We can assist businesses with health and wellness for their employees as well.

I would love to hear from you; whether you are in need of putting together a conference or simply want some consultation – please contact me.

Warm regards,

Deanne
