Founder of Boot Camp for Nurse Educators ®, Donna is nationally recognized as an expert in nursing education and medical-sugical/gerontological nursing.  Better known as "Iggy" by faculty and students, she has a wealth of experience as an educator, clinical nurse specialist, and nursing administrator for over 35 years.  Donna has taught at the diploma, and baccalaureate levels, and most recently in an associate degree program.  Currently, she provides continuing education, consultation, and national presentations for faculty, students, and clinical staff on such topics as critical thinking, clinical evaluation, learning strategies, and curriculum development through her consulting company DI Associates, Inc.  Donna is the author of a number of articles and books, including Medical-Surgical Nursing: Critical Thinking for Collaborative Care 5th Ed. (2006) with Linda Workman.  In September she was inducted as a fellow into the prestigious Academy of Nursing Education for her national contribution to the field of nursing education.
